Our Process

We make sure nothing gets lost in translation.

We are communicators at heart, so our process always begins with a conversation. We get to know the challenges and goals that lie ahead for your business so we can do more than just help you translate assets to another language: we help you communicate with the world in a way that helps you build the personal, global connections you need to thrive.

The AAA Translation Process

It starts with a conversation. We will talk to you about your goals, challenges, and the project(s) you need help with. We will also discuss cultural context and the role it plays in your project and in your business as a whole. Our team is willing and able to sign NDAs to protect the privacy and confidentiality of your company information.

01

We create a proposal

This proposal will detail the services we recommend, a timeline for the completion of your work, and a quote

02

We both sign

When you have reviewed our proposal and are ready to get started, we will both sign a contract, and our team will begin work.

03

Your project is carefully completed

Our highly qualified team will translate, localize, proof, and format your project. We work alongside you throughout the process, offering advice on the best ways to convey your message to your audiences.

04

We say thank you, gracias, merci, and arigato!

We are passionate about connection and culture, so we are thrilled at the opportunity to help any business or organization become more globally-minded. When your project is complete, we will deliver a handwritten Thank You for working with us – not only on your project, but in helping to create a more connected world.

The AAA Translation Quality Control Process

Translate: The first translation lays the foundations for the quality of the final piece. Without exception, we always select the most qualified linguist for the job. For translations which require specialist knowledge, we use qualified linguists who have knowledge and experience in the relevant business field. We work only with native-speaking linguists who have an in-depth knowledge of both the language and the target country itself.

Edit: Translations of the highest quality require more than one set of eyes. Our editors are trained specialists or native speakers that understand local nuances, customs, and slang terms which may have a different interpretation to a foreign audience.

Project manager: Our project managers are responsible for overseeing the entire project from beginning to end, maintaining the linguistic quality assurance, and ensuring translations are clear, correct, and concise.

Desktop publishing: In many instances, translation projects must also be presented in a format designed for specific requirements or audiences. Our desktop publishing team prepares the document to match the original material while being sensitive to the cultural nuances of the target audience. Project managers are also responsible for communicating advice offered by local experts on changes that your target audience will find more appealing.

Proof: The proofing stage involves making any final alterations to the document before we deliver the final translation to the client. The linguists responsible for this stage of the process are experts in style and terminology and have a deep understanding of the requirements needed for high-quality translations.
