About Susanne Evens

Susanne Evens is the Founder and CEO of the St. Louis-based AAA Translation (founded in 1994), the President of St. Louis-Stuttgart Sister Cities (since 2006), and a board member of the World Trade Center St. Louis.

Susanne is also a board member of the German-American Heritage Society (since 2007) and a board member of the German-American Committee (since 2006), a member of the St. Louis Mosaic Project Immigrant Entrepreneurship Advisory Board, a board member of the Missouri Humanities Council and Trailnet.

Her advice regarding global business development and communications has been featured by national media outlets that include BusinessWeek, National Public Radio (NPR), BrandChannel.com, and more. Under her leadership, AAA Translation has grown to serve business clients the world over, working in more than 150 languages, to provide translation, interpretation, and cultural consulting services.

Evens was instrumental in bringing two German-based companies to set up facilities and initiate trade within the Midwest, has been an annual guest lecturer at the University of Missouri-St. Louis’ Women in International Entrepreneurship Consortium (since 2008), has served as a mentor for the Women’s Leadership Council at University of Missouri-St. Louis, and was honored by the German-American Heritage Society of Saint Louis in 2013 with the organization’s prestigious Friedrich Hecker Freedom Award.

Additionally, she was recently selected as one of the Top 100 St. Louisans to Know to Succeed in Business.
